Committed and compassionate, UPFH partner Andrea Wobick is a skilled negotiator and strong litigator able to cut through factually complex challenges to achieve successful outcomes for her clients.
Andrea represents employees, employers, trade unions and associations in all areas of employment law, labour law, professional discipline and civil litigation. She advises and advocates on matters involving employment contracts, wrongful dismissals, restrictive covenants, professional discipline, human rights and workplace harassment and bullying.
Since joining the firm in 2005, she has represented clients in education, health and other sectors before labour arbitrators, professional discipline bodies, human rights tribunals, other administrative tribunals and the courts. She has also worked with clients in workplace investigations. Andrea leads the firm’s employment law group.
Andrea has been a featured speaker for organizations such as the Ontario Bar Association (OBA), Canadian Association of Labour Lawyers (CALL), American Bar Association, Infonex and Lancaster House. She is a member of the Advocates’ Society and CALL and an executive member of OBA’s Labour & Employment Section, having previously served as section chair.
Andrea holds an LLB from the University of Ottawa and a BA from the University of Victoria.
